Our Freeware Envelope Print program was designed for simplicity, easiness and quickness.

• Load the program
• First time use, enter the return address and never again
• Enter a To address
• Click print, the system automatically stores the address in your address book for future use.

The address book is kept sorted by name at all times.

If you need to enter multiple addresses without printing, you can do that to, just click save instead of print (or press F4 to save).

You can also move the precise location of printed output to where you want it on the envelope.

While designed for use with standard #10 envelopes with the ability to change the print location, any size envelope can be used simply by changing the Vertical and Horizontal Locations of where the information blocks are to print.

A note about the zipcode lookup feature

NO WARRANTY OR GURANTEE TO THE ACCURACY OF THE ZIPCODE DATABASE IS MADE. USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS "AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTY".  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTERING CORRECT CITY, STATE INFORMATION PRIOR TO PRINTING AND/OR SAVING, IF THE ZIPCODE LOOKUP FUNCTION RETURNS INCORRECT INFORMATION.

The zipcode lookup feature is one direction only.  I.e. enter the zipcode and the system inserts the City and State, if found in the database.  You can not enter Address, City, State and get the zipcode or zipcode+4 returned.

The underlying data related to zip codes is the property of the US Postal Service.  I do not claim any ownership in the data.

The data used by this program is compiled from over a decade of extracting data from personal address books, customer "Customer"/"Vendor"/"Payer"/"Payee" databases, and various other public sources.  I claim no ownership to the data itself, only to the underlying format that I utilize to access the data within my program.  I do not claim that the zipcode database is complete, nor do I claim/maintain any guarantee or warranty to correctness or appropriate use.  Your use of the zipcode lookup feature is "AS-IS" with "NO WARRANTY" of any kind.  If the City and State returned by the program from entering the zipcode is questionable you are required to verify the information prior to printing the envelope or saving the record.

The USPS also doesn’t want people using outdated addressing information.  The USPS does not sale their data but they do sale access to a data subscription.  Because zip codes are added, deleted, decommission and modified on a regular basis, the USPS requires that you update your zip code database on a regular basis (at least once a year).

I DO NOT MAINTAIN MY DATABASE ON A REGULAR BASIS.  I do make modifications to it from time to time, but I do not update to any USPS sanctioned "primary source" records of any kind on any routine or regular time period.  The use of the zipcode lookup feature is to make it faster to enter address information by supplying ("typing") the City and State in for you.  You should always confirm prior to printing that the returned City and State are correct and if not, modify the record prior to saving or printing.

Corrections you make are made to the individual address record and not to the ZIPCODE database.  Any future use of an previously used erroneous zipcode will continue to be returned as an erroneous City and State and must manually be corrected each and every time that zipcode is used.  If you would like an update to our ZIPCODE database that corrects the error, please use our CONTACT form to notify us of the correct Zipcode, City, State.  I will incorporate the change into the database, but the database may not be released for several months or longer.

You can purchase a "Sanctioned" USPS subscription from the USPS or from "THIRD-PARTY" vendors.  These "Sanctioned" products cost anywhere from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars.  If you are wanting to incorporate the zipcode data into a re-distributive product the licensing fee can run into the Tens of Thousands of dollars.  It is for this reason I do not provide a USPS "Sanctioned" Zipcode product.

If you want to incorporate your "Sanctioned" USPS database into my product please feel free to use the CONTACT form on our website to initiate discussion of this possiblity.  I will either provide coding for direct access to the USPS database or will extract and convert the needed data for my software.  Either way, you will be assured of having the most up to date information with such an arrangement, (provided you maintain a USPS "Sanctioned" subscription).
